The Fossil Coachman Chronograph is a stunning timepiece that draws attention due to its unique cuff leather strap and blue tinted face. In fact, that was what got me searching online for info on this Fossil watch. My friend Parag had this cool looking watch which he said was a gift. Fossil Coachman Chronograph Black Leather CH2564 Men’s Watch was a handsome timepiece, especially if you could carry off the large size. Parag was a well-built guy and the Fossil Coachman Chronograph suited him well.
Out of sheer curiosity I checked out the specifics of the Fossil CH2564 at the Indian website of City Watches. There was a huge collection of watches from different brands all selling at massive discounts. The Fossil Coachman chronograph was also up for sale with a listed price of Rs. 7,467/-.
The watch specifics said that the stainless-steel case diameter was 43mm, this was distinctly a large watch. That, along with 12mm thickness and the leather cuff band would wear a bit bulky especially for guys with small wrists. Although the leather cuff design of the strap should take away any discomfort, the Fossil Coachman is a really big watch.
The Fossil Coachman CH2564 features three sub-dials representing the chronograph function as well as a tachymeter scale. The date is displayed at the 4 o’clock marker. 100m water resistance ensures the dial interior remains dry even if you decide to wear it on a swim in the pool. Though, I wouldn’t advise it, the leather cuff strap may not take well to water.
I would call the Fossil Coachman Chronograph Black Leather CH2564 Men’s Watch a day-time watch. I say this because reading the time in the dark might not be easy considering only the hands are luminous in the dark.
Being fashion watches, Fossil timepieces are purchased for their stylish and fashionable looks rather than reliability or durability. They generally feature a quartz movement which is considered quite an accurate timekeeper. As far as quality is concerned, Fossil are decently built watches that last at least a couple of years. Additionally, there is a two-year warranty from purchase date which covers materials and workmanship of the watch.
The Fossil CH2564 is a mid-range fashion watch that is decently built using reasonably good quality materials. It is reliable and should give you a few years of good service. The price range is on par with other watches of the same level. Some folks may find the price to be on the higher side for a fashion watch.
