There were lovely evenly placed Roman hour markers in rose gold tone, a round date window at the bottom just above the VI-hour marker. The minute and hour hands too were in rose gold tones. The black seconds hand made a lovely contrast on the all-white dial face. To say I was impressed on my daughter’s choice would be an understatement. The watch was well worth the price.

The watch face was large enough for me to read the time at a glance. The little booklet that came with it claimed the Fossil Jacqueline Quartz Blush Leather Strap ES3988 Women’s Watch was water resistant up to 30 meters. So, I guess, the occasional heavy shower should not have any effect on it.
